PDF background colors not printing — here's the fix

Open your print dialog
Whether you're using Acrobat, Preview, Chrome, or PrintMultiplePDFs.com, the setting lives in the print dialog under Advanced or More Settings.
Enable 'Background graphics' or 'Print background colors and images'
In Chrome and the browser tool: tick 'Background graphics'. In Acrobat: Page Setup → Print background colors. In Preview: Show Details → Preview → Print background.
Re-print
Once enabled, the setting usually persists for that printer. Re-check if you change duplex or layout options — some drivers reset it.
